e-group for IBL testbeam: atlas-ibl-testbeam@cern.ch

Testbeam runs

2 Testbeam runs have been performed at DESY using the EUDET telescope. Information on the telescope can be found here

http://www.eudet.org/e13/e21/e727/

Runs were completed in February & April

Devices tested included

  • p rriadiated Planar (23 MeV proton irradiation/ Karlsruhe)
  • 3 n irradiated Planar (Ljubjana 5e1015)
  • p irradiated 3D FBK sensors (23 MeV proton irradiation/ Karlsruhe)

Analysis

THere are 2 parts to the data analysis for the testbeam

1) Track reconstruction

This is the trasnformation of the raw data files acquired by a set of data aquisition boards to high level objects like tracks crossing the telescope.

This done through the EUTelescope software. The description of how to install and run the software is given here

http://www-zeus.desy.de/~rubinsky/EUTelescope/index.html

2) Analysis

[To be completed]
