Recent Results in Charmed Baryons

Papers on recent charmed baryon experimental results include:

• Recent experimental results on charmed baryons, Matt Charles, 2009.
• Observation of New States Decaying into Λc+K-π+ and Λc+K0sπ-, the Belle Collaboration (PRL 97, 162001(2006)).

The search for doubly charmed baryons across the previous decade is presented below:

• First Observation of the Doubly Charmed baryon Ξ+cc, the SELEX Collaboration (Phys.Rev.Lett.89:112001,2002), reporting a first observation of the Ξ+cc, with ~6.3σ significance.
• New results on c-baryons and a search for cc-baryons in FOCUS, Sergio P Ratti, (Nuclear Physics B Proceedings Supplements, Volume 115, p. 33-36), detailing FOCUS's work in charmed baryon spectroscopy. Notably they find zero evidence for doubly charmed baryon production at 200GeV.
• Confirmation of the Double Charm Baryon Xi_cc+ via its Decay to p D+ K-, the SELEX Collaboration (Phys.Lett.B628:18-24,2005), reporting a confirmation of the 2002 observation.
• Search for doubly charmed baryons Ξ+cc and Ξ++cc in BABAR, BABAR Collaboration (Physical Review D 74, 011103(R) (2006)). The search found no evidence for doubly charmed production.
