GroupPrinters < IT

---+ Group Printers

PPE maintains a few printers for the use of its members.  The main printers for general use are:

In addition, smaller devices are provided for admin staff and in certain research offices.  For information on these devices, please ask [[ITManagement#PPE_IT_Support][PPE IT support]].

Instructions for installing and using these printers are available for the following operating systems:

These printers can only be used from a wired network connection.

Should you find that one of these printers is out of toner or paper:

   * Spare toner for printers is stored in room 484. If you're unsure about replacing toner, please speak to Valerie Flood or [[ITManagement#PPE_IT_Support][PPE IT support]].  Used toner cartridges should be taken to stores (room 117) for recycling.
   * Some spare paper is stored in room 484. Alternatively, spare paper can be obtained from stores (room 117).
