- When installing the printer driver, if presented with a list of printers you need the "PullPrint" printer, not the ones starting with "COSE...". This can be found under the "All Printers" list.
- To print from the Canon printer in 484:
- Take your staff card with you!
- If the screen is dark, press the illuminated green button at the top right of the panel to wake up
- Log into the printer by tapping your card on the card reader to the left.
- You should see a list of your print jobs - select the one you want from the list and press print to start (bottom left)
- You can also print from the web interface directly by visiting http://laptopprint.gla.ac.uk/WebApp/Login
and signing in with your GUID
- From there you can choose to upload a file
- After doing this, follow the instructions above to print from 484

To print from the managed printer in 484:
- Make sure you have your staff or student card with you!
- If the printer is in power saving mode when you arrive (i.e. if the screen is dark), push the illuminated green button at the top right.
- Log in by tapping your card against the card reader on the left-hand side.
- You should see a list of your print jobs. Select the one you want to print and press
Print to start (bottom left).
A web interface is provided which lets you send jobs directly to the managed printers without the need to install the driver first. You can access this using your GUID:
http://laptopprint.gla.ac.uk/WebApp/Login
Once you have logged in, you can upload the file you wish to print, at which point it will be retrievable from any managed printer.
