---+++ Installation of ILC software at Glasgow

Two choices for downloading the software is through svn or via a tarball. For the first attempt I opted for the latter. To do this I

went to:

https://svnsrv.desy.de/viewvc/ilctools/ilcinstall/tags/

and downloaded the tar file accessible here:

into the temporary directory
