Manual Glue Stamping
The flex to assembly attachmenet can be performed with a glue stamp to transfer the glue and to vertical stamp to pick up the items to attach. A set of jigs have been desigend based on an original design from PSI for the CMS pixel system. shows the details of how the module was made.
A presentation on the assembly process overveiw and the adaptation of the tooling for the FEI4 quad module are given below.
